BAFTA win for Stephen Rea and The Honourable Woman

Drama Republic is delighted that Stephen Rea has won a British Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

The award recognises his performance as world-weary spook, Sir Hugh Hayden-Hoyle, in The Honourable Woman. Stephen collected the award at a ceremony hosted by Graham Norton, held at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on Sunday 10 May 2015.

On collecting the award Stephen paid tribute to the series’ creator, Hugo Blick:
‘Sometimes you get to work with a great director, sometimes you get to work with a great writer, and sometimes a great producer. And then you get to work with Hugo Blick, who is all three of those things. A magnificent artist. A privilege and an honour to work with him.’
