Doctor Foster and An Inspector Calls win Broadcasting Press Guild Awards

 

Drama Republic is delighted that Suranne Jones has won at the Broadcasting Press Guild Television and Radio Awards 2016 – winning the Best Actress award for her stunning performance in Doctor Foster.

Drama Republic’s star-studded adaptation of JB Priestley’s An Inspector Calls was also victorious at the awards, collecting the Best Single Drama prize.

The annual BPG Awards recognise outstanding programmes and performances from the preceding year as voted on by the Guild’s membership.

Ken Stott and Miranda Richardson from An Inspector Calls attended the awards ceremony, while Adam James, Suranne Jones’s co-star from Doctor Foster, was present to collect the prize on her behalf.
