The English nominated at the Televisional Bulldog Awards, the Gotham Awards and the RTS Craft and Design Awards!
‘BBC’s The English received the most nominations for one programme overall, earning nods across Costume Design – Scripted, Design – Titles, Music Original Score – Scripted and Production Design - Scripted categories.’
Congratulations to all the cast and crew of The English who have been collecting nominations across the board at some of the most prestigious TV awards! Chaske Spencer has receive another nomination for Outstanding Performance for his portrayal of Eli Whipp, whilst the show also picked up a Breakthrough Television over 40 minutes nomination at the Gotham Awards.
Chris Roope and Phoebe de Gaye were nominated for Production Design and Costume Design respectively at the prestigious RTS Craft and Design Awards for their strikingly bold and original work. In the music category, Federico Jusid receive an RTS nomination for Original Music Score for his expansive, haunting soundtrack, whilst Chris Billig, Stephen Fuller, Colin Hess & Danny Kamhaji were nominated in the Titles category for their iconic title design.
Also at the Televisual Bulldog Awards, The English picked up nominations for Drama One-off or Serial, Cinematography and Editing,
