Starring Lovesick’s Johnny Flynn, Sky’s new series The Lovers is flirty, fighty and perfect for fans of Derry Girls.

When Channel 4’s Derry Girls finished last spring, it left a distinct hole in our lives, one that only a special kind of quick-witted, darkly comic drama could fill. But it seems the wait may be over.

Coming this autumn to Sky Atlantic is original drama The Lovers, written by award-winning playwright David Ireland and directed by Bafta-winning Justin Martin.

Starring none other than Lovesick’s Johnny Flynn, alongside Róisín Gallagher (The Dry) and Alice Eve (Belgravia), The Lovers is a hilarious six-part series about love, connection and finding your soulmate in the most unlikely of places.
